Our story begins with a domestic water purifier with reverse osmosis technology. The professor Viktor Dulger (founder of ProMinent Gmbh), his Italian partner dott. Ivo Calabrò and the current director dott. Cristiano Ferrari understoond the importance of being able to offer families a high-tech domestic water purifier that does not involve the inconvenience of the installation that often prevents the purchase. Thus vonTaine was born, which in German is pronounced "fonten" recalling the fountain and at the same time embellished by the noble suffix "von".

ProAcqua enters the hospitality market by producing HRC series microfiltered water dispensers.

The acronym HRC stands for Hotel, Restaurant and Catering. A sector in great growth today but which was pioneering in 2006. Only a long-term vision has made our HRC products the most advanced water dispensers at room temperature on the market today, both still cold and sparkling cold.

In 2007, ProAcqua CITY was born. The first outdoor high tech water refill station was installed in Milan by the then mayor Letizia Moratti. Also in this sector, ProAcqua has traced the line of a new market, understanding the potential of public water distribution at zero km. The initial idea was to offer a very good water under the organoleptic profile, using every available technology (microfiltration filters, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, ultraviolet rays lamps, etc.) to make the water of the highest quality to a social price. This was made possible by not having to bottle water and carry it around the world before consumption. The positive aspect in time and the volumes of water supplied through the virtuous circuit of ProAcqua water fountains was obviously that of the drastic reduction of plastic waste. Today the fight against plastic bottles has become of great importance in public opinion and our water fountains' demand is increasing.

It is time to renew the vonTaine domestic purifier, thanks to the research studies of ProMinet (controlling partner of ProAcqua), the Prosit project is born.

The new domestic purifier is designed by the architect Angelo Micheli who succeeds in fully grasping the trends of a high-end household appliance as Prosit was supposed to be. In addition to reverse osmosis, Prosit also houses a microfiltration filter and an additional activated carbon filter, and at the end of the cycle there is also a 4-watt UV lamp that prevents back-contamination. Prosit immediately becomes a must for modern kitchens!

ProAcqua Singapore.

ProAcqua arrives in Asia, in Singapore, installing the first plants in the famous Marina Bay Sands hotel.

It is the beginning of a continuous growth on the Asian market that also distinguishes us today.

ProAcqua HANG is born, the self-supporting unit that delivers still and sparkling water to be placed in supermarkets, shops, hotels and universities.

The production of OMDE is started, a domestic water dispenser that supplies filtered water at room temperature, still cold, sparkling cold and even hot water for tea.

ProAcqua EVENT is born, the purified water distribution system specially designed for public events such as concerts, marathons, festivals and village festivals.

Because of the COVID19 pandemic, we have developed a new CONTACT LESS technology to dispense water without having to press any buttons and therefore reducing the risk of spreading the contact infection. Therefore, WATER FRONT was born, the first water dispenser dedicated to public areas (schools, universities, hotel lobbies, conference rooms, etc.) with large supply capacities thanks to four taps operated with a proximity sensor.
